"Tsumami Zaiku: An Artisan's Guide to Modern Day Kanzashi"
This project is headed by Ariel Loh, with nine other hana tsumami kanzashi makers acting as expert contributors. We hope to publish a print book! To do this, we have opened a store to sell kanzashi, origami, and other Japanese craft related products (see the store link above).

Visit our homepage for more information about our project, where we hope to bring many techniques to help beginning and more advanced kanzashi artists! You can read about the authors, get an idea of the content, and check out some pictures.
Calling all TZArtisans!! Do you know what the BEST way to make sure that the tutorials YOU want make it into the TZArtisan eBook release? Answering this survey! :D

It would mean the WORLD to us if you could take few minutes to answer 14 questions on our TZArtisan survey on flowers and designs from the maiko calendar for traditional tsumami kanzashi?
There's also question at the end relating to non-traditional designs as well.

Answering this survey will ENSURE that we can get the designs that you most want to learn INTO the book, and then plan accordingly to incorporate the others in either the print version or in future books!

Here is the survey: goo.gl/forms/NzH9c4IPiAGwr1Zj2

If you have friends that are interested in DIY and Japanese crafts, please have them check it out, as having their feedback will also ensure that TZArtisan is able to produce a good, marketable book to people all over the world!

Our lovely TZArtisan, hanatsukuri, put a lot of time into creating this, all to help us better cater the book to you and YOUR interests!! There is also a corresponding Pinterest board on the page with the survey (with pictures of the tsumami kanzashi designs in question to give you some examples).

We would really appreciate your answers!!
Thank you!! \^0^/

I just logged in and noticed that there is an expired invitation to join this group. I'm thankful for the kind invitation, however -- I'm not a kanzashi artisans, after all -- so I'm afraid I'm not suited to be a part of this group. Is it still possible for me to join?

Thank you!

If you like/appreciate the kind of accessories that are being submitted here, you're more than welcome :)
Kanzashi artisans/hobbyists enjoy feedback and such, after all.

I've just resent your invite :)

Thank you very much for the kind invitation.  Although I enjoy viewing them, I am unfortunately unable to make any kanzashi, so I'm afraid I would not suit this group.

Hello, Hallo, Privet!
Danke (thank you) for the invitation however I have sadly had to decline it. Even though I have interest in Japanese fashion this isn't something I focus on. I motly look costumes, specifically historic ones.
I hope you all succeed in making this group wonderful and if I ever start taking a bigger interest in this then I'll be sure to drop back.
